Uppababy Vista Reviews And Information
The UPPAbaby Vista is one of the most versatile offerings in the high end stroller category. It's a stroller you can keep from the time you bring your baby home from the hospital, all the way through their toddler years. Going from a bassinet style stroller to a toddler type seat couldn't be easier, as you won't have to change any of the fabric like is common on many multi year strollers. The Vista also offers you the opportunity to expand your family without expanding your stroller budget, as you can add a second "rumble seat" for a second child. The fabric is all organic, made from a cotton blended with soybean. Sun protection wasn't forgotten, as the sun shade canopy offers your little one SPF50+ protection. No feature was left out on the Vista stroller.
2015 Vista Stroller Review
The vista stroller underwent a bit of an overhaul for 2015, making something that was already great, even better. The best features of the old Vista are still there, and that starts with things like having fantastic storage space under the seat, tires that will never pop and leave you wobbly, the perfectly protective SPF 50+ canopy, and the awesome handle with the never ending telescope on it, making it impossible not to find a comfortable walking position. You also still get the signature bassinet, that you can actually use for sleeping as it is approved to do so, the convenience of the easy to use foot brake, and the effortless steering.
The biggest and best upgrade for this stroller is definitely in the way they re engineered the folding mechanism. The way the previous model folded was fine, it worked, however it definitely wasn't intuitive, and very time you folded the Vista up you felt like you might break it. The new setup allows you to fold it with the seat on or off, and makes life a little bit easier as it folds into a much more compact package than before.

Using The Vista As A Double Stroller
Utilizing the features of the Vista's double stroller capability is also a bit easier. You can have the infant car seat in the upper part of the stroller facing you, while your toddler sized child can face either forward, or backward facing you in the bottom part of the stroller. If you have twins, or children that are close in age or size, you can utilize the stroller with two infant seats. UPPAbaby definitely kept parents with more than one child in mind when they redesigned the Vista. You can now easily tote around multiple children in the same stroller at the same time and still actually be able to push it. There really isn't anything comparable on the market in terms of being able to utilize 2 bassinets at the same time.
If you happen to have a child with you that is too large for a stroller, than you can add on a PiggyBoard which can hold up to 55 pounds, and you can stash it out of site, folded up when not in use. Because the new frame is made of advanced metals like magnesium and aluminium composites, it is a little bit bulky and heavy. Thankfully the new folding mechanism we talked about earlier makes this a bit easier to bare.

Another really crucial improvement that improved the usability big time is the reworked front wheels on the stroller. It's especially noticeable if you live somewhere that has terrain that can be bumpy, or you live somewhere that can have inclement weather. Being able to lock the wheels with a single easy movement is a huge advantage. The lock works every time without fail.
Vista Pricing And Final Verdict
Is the new and improved Vista stroller expensive? Absolutely. Is it worth every penny? Absolutely. Uppababy is a company committed to putting out the absolute best products they can, and that comes at the cost of a lot of research and development. You are definitely getting what you pay for, and what you are paying for is a real top notch piece of baby equipment. From the easy to fold frame to the tons of different seating configurations, the Vista is the best high end stroller there is.
Perhaps one of the biggest downsides is that because this is a new model, the used parts market doesn't exist yet. You can't find many used PiggyBoards or extra bassinets out there that you will be able to use. Though the cupholder has seen some improvement through the years, it still leaves a bit to be desired. It's not so much that it doesn't hold a cup well, as that when you are folding the stroller, or putting it in the car, it just doesn't stay on, and you are always battling with it. Other Uppababy strollers have working cupholders, so we aren't sure why they can't nail this one.
Ultimately, if you only want to ever buy one stroller (short of having triplets) than the Uppababy Vista is for you. It is the best built stroller that is going to last you the multiple years that you and your children need it to!
